As many of you may have heard by now, Windows XP is dead. Microsoft declared it was at it’s end of life and no longer offers support or updates for the aged operating system. There have been several published ‘hacks’ to still acquire Windows updates, but they will not continue.
If you’re at TDI reading this, you shouldn’t have to worry. All computers have been updated to Windows 7. If you’re a student, faculty or staff member, or emeritus, and your home computer is running Windows XP, I’m guessing you’ve been receiving a popup since April telling you the bad news.
